OUR MINISTRIES

Neighbor To Neighbor

Northside Fellowship came to Homewood Ave. to be a neighborhood church.  We are here to serve the community in East Burlington.  We want to function as another neighbor to those who live around us.  We are constantly seeking ways to reach out to our neighborhood families.  Our ministries are open to everyone!

Food Pantry

Do you know of a family who would benefit from having some additional food? If you know of someone who is struggling financially, you can encourage that person to call the Northside office at 336-227-2386. Food is available for those who need short-term assistance. In addition to referring families to take advantage of the food pantry, you can help us to keep it stocked.  Donations can be placed in the designated boxes in the foyer. For more info, contact Angie Shernock at 336-447-0594.

Northside has been gathering gently used and new clothing to assist area families. If you know of a family that could benefit from this ministry, have them call the church office at 336-227-2386.  You can drop off donations at the church office. For more info, contact Angie Shernock at 336-447-0594.

Women's Ministry

Our Women's Ministry team hosts our annual Christmas Brunch in December.   More information will be forthcoming for people to sign up to decorate a table.  This event will be for all women of Northside and any guests they may choose to invite.

Youth Group

At Northside we value our young people and care about their future! Each Sunday morning at 9 a.m., the  youth are meeting for a time of Bible Study and discussion.  They are going through the book "How to Make Choices You Won't Regret".  Dana Bowlin is the lead teacher.  Each Sunday evening from 5 to 6:30 p.m. we offer a youth group for all middle and high school students.  They will meet in the "Youth Den" adjacent to the Fellowship Hall for small group time and then ending with a light supper.  Charles and Nikki Haith are leading the group and encouraging them to strengthen their spiritual walk with the Lord.

Small Groups/Discipleship Ministry

Scripture Study - a small group for men is offered every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. and includes breakfast.  For more information, call Tony Kimbrell at 336-263-5444 or email at kartonprops@gmail.com.
