OUR MINISTRIES

Neighbor To Neighbor

Northside Fellowship came to Homewood Ave. to be a neighborhood church.  We are here to serve the community in East Burlington.  We want to function as another neighbor to those who live around us.  We are constantly seeking ways to reach out to our neighborhood families.  Our ministries are open to everyone!

Women's Ministry

Our Women's Ministry team hosts our annual Christmas Brunch in December.   They also contribute greatly to helping with many different functions that the church has during the year.  If you are a woman interested in getting involved in the activities of the church, please let us know.  Just call the church office at 336-227-2386.

Youth Group

At Northside we value our young people and care about their future! Each Sunday morning at 9 a.m., the  youth are meeting for a time of Bible Study and discussion.  They have been discussing the sermon topics that are delivered each week.  Dana Bowlin is the lead teacher.  Each Sunday evening from 5 to 6:30 p.m. we offer a youth group for all middle and high school students.  They will meet in the "Youth Den" adjacent to the Fellowship Hall for small group time and then ending with a light supper.  Charles and Nikki Haith are leading the group and encouraging them to strengthen their spiritual walk with the Lord.

Small Groups/Discipleship Ministry

"Critical Issues for Men" - a small group for men is offered every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. This group meets in the Conference room.  For more information, call the church office at 336-227-2386.

"Doing Good" a men's study by Chip Ingram and led by Donald Bowlin meets on Monday nights from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Youth Room downstairs.  For more information contact the church office at 336-227-2386

Are you a young adult who wants to have a deeper relationship with God? If so, then you need to participate in a new small group that will meet on Thursday evenings this winter. The group will study “Experiencing God” — a study that God has used to transform the lives of many young men and women. At Northside, the group will meet for 12 weeks from 6:30 to 8 p.m. each Thursday in the conference room. The study will help you discover God’s will, God’s ways, and God’s work. To participate, just call the church at 336-227-2386 to sign up so we know how many books to order.
